Winter Window Wallhanging

Winter Window Wallhanging

Winter Window Wallhanging
I started working part time in a quilt shop in September last year. This has been a wonderful experience for me as I have spent the majority of my working life behind an office desk. It is so much fun to now be surrounded by colourful fabrics and loads of creativity when I go to work.
It has been interesting to explore and play with extremely bright colours and contemporary prints, as I’m primarily a primitive country girl at heart.
My love for country themes shows through in Winter Window, inspired by the window boxes that adorned the old converted church that I lived in for years. They even had the old rusty stars nailed on the front of the boxes. The garden stake with the church on top still stands among the flower tops in my garden today. I hope you enjoy building your own window box and filling it with the joy that the season brings.
