Sweet Begonia

This delicate piece of embroidered begonia was initially designed using variegated threads, which takes the work out of shading. In these instructions are the colours that should be staggered to give the variegated effect. Feel free to use variegated threads, so you can focus on the stitching. Sweet Begonia uses the general techniques for long and short stitch shading with a few subtle differences. Follow the diagram for the angle and placement of your stitches.
