Rosa blanda, commonly known as the meadow, wild rose, smooth rose or prairie rose, is a species of rose native to North America. It’s the rose that comes the closest to a ‘thornless’ rose, with just a few thorns at the base.
While there’s a craze about colouring books and expressing ourselves in colour on paper, it’s been a life- long passion of mine to colour fabric with thread. This form of embroidery is stimulating while at the same time brings a great sense of tranquility to my stitching time.
