I have a cat named Mitz that I adore. I’m pretty sure she adores me too, though she’s a cat, so you can never really tell. I took this funny photo of Mitz one day – she stuck her face in mine, yet she seemed to be saying, “What YOU lookin’ at?” I thought it would make for a great art quilt project, but I didn’t want a typical fibre art pet portrait, with heavy thread painting. Rather, I wanted something edgy, amusing, and easy to do. My creative mind immediately wanted to create a version of the pop art style.
