In September of 2018, my husband and I took a cruise to the South Pacific. One of the stops along the route was Easter Island (part of Chile) or more commonly known as Rapa Nui, among the indigenous people. This is one of the go-to places to have on your bucket list. It was on mine. I just never expected to get there, but we did! It was the highlight of the trip. I look back at the pictures and marvel all over again about the history and beauty of the island.
