With this in mind I came up with a branching pattern which incorporates tiny bunches of eyelets to give the impression of flowers. The colour is called raspberry but it makes me think of the darker wine-like pink found in the centres of cherry blossom blooms.
When choosing shoes I always pick one up and hold it to see how it will look to me when I’m wearing it. So I applied this notion to this sock design. The pattern changes at the ankle so that the branch effect can be seen not only by an admirer but also by the wearer.
