The Bee Stitch is simple to knit, and it creates a lovely, textured fabric that traps air and helps insulate—perfect for blankets. Here, it is knit in Universal Wool Pop, a round, multi-plied yarn that is smooth and soft, with great stitch definition. The bamboo, wool and polyamide fibres in the yarn take dye differently, resulting in a slightly heathered effect with a subtle sheen. The Marmalade colour in the sample is another reference to the bee, and it pops against the neutral Silken grey. The 2-stitch, 4-row repeat makes this project easy to re-size, even for beginners, but the math has been done for you here for five different sizes.
