Black and white fabric with a little splash of red is all that is required to create a stunning simple quilt; or rephrased; a simply stunning quilt. One of my goals as a National Educator has been to get young people sewing and prepare them to carry on the quilting traditions of my generation and the many generations before me. In the last ten years Modern Quilting has moved in to take its place in our quilting world. Modern quilt groups and guilds are growing.
