The Pinstripe Vest

Inspired by classic menswear fashion, this vest has been designed to flatter a woman’s body. The pinstripes are made with a simple slip stitch pattern. The edges take advantage of the natural roll of reverse stocking stitch. The buttonholes are created while attaching the edging so there are no complex buttonhole skills required. There are decrease and increase shaping stitches to create dart lines in the body for extra style (see pattern notes for details on adjusting them). The vest points are created with a simplified short row technique that does not involve making wraps.
