Gingham Apples Socks

Inspired by the apple tree and knit from the top down, these socks are best described as a ‘tree from the ground up’! The black yarn (Toe) represents the rich soil for the roots. The two shades of brown (Foot) look like the bark of the trunk with the words on the sole scratched in. The pink (Heel and Turn) is for fragrant blossoms and yellow is for bees. The red and white apples (Leg) are reminiscent of a gingham apron. Lastly, blue/green mix (Cuff) is to top off the tree with loops for leaves under the sky.
