Forest Trails Shawl
US$8.95
This shawl features lots of textural garter stitch and a border of zigzagging lace meant to evoke the winding paths one might take through the woods. In blue, the border pattern would be more reminiscent of a meandering stream. The shawl’s asymmetrical shape is constructed with a simple increase near the end of most right-side rows. This modern shape is enhanced by the blunt garter stitch tip and the wide garter stitch borders on the sides of the shawl. The final border can be worked whenever the shawl reaches your desired size. Notes are provided to explain how to end your shawl at different points of the pattern repeat.
