Cutie Pie Blankie

Offsetting the center four squares with this long-span variegated yarn gives a traditional blanket a modern twist and encourages a beginning knitter to try something a little different. The colours in this adorable baby blanket were inspired by some Dutch tiles pictured in Cynthia’s Knit Together article in Issue 61. Four cakes of Lion Brand Yarn Mandala Ombré worsted weight yarn 150g/ball in Tranquil colourway were used in knitting the sample.
