With Love Baby Quilt

Jennifer Houlden from Quilts by Jen loves quilting using bright colours. She has a passion for colour and creating the illusion of movement in a quilt. When she heard that the theme for this issue was about sharing positivity and using bright colours, she was thrilled as there is no better way to showcase wonderful fabrics with the happiness of an X & O! She called this quilt With Love as her sister reminded her that their grandmother always signed her letters ‘Grandma, hugs and kisses’, which she knows meant with love.

This is an adorable baby quilt pattern where leftover fabrics of various colour gradations could also be used. It’s quilted with straight-line stitching using a walking foot and echo quilting was used on the X&O. Full instructions with photos.
