Dancing with the Stars

Dancing with the Stars is a beginner-friendly quilting and appliqué pattern for a whimsical angel wall quilt. Designed by Trisha Della Vella and Mary Eeg, the project finishes at 47″ x 26½ . The design features five angels, stars and decorative clothing details, making it ideal for holiday decorating or a heartfelt handmade gift. Skills involved include fusible appliqué, machine appliqué, decorative stitching, simple embroidery, free motion or hand quilting, binding, adding a hanging sleeve and labelling the quilt. The technique applied is fusible machine appliqué, with optional hand-embroidered facial details and embellishments for extra personality and charm.
