Purple Coneflowers Banner

I LOVE batik fabrics and have been collecting them for a long time. I also love coneflowers both in my garden and as a design element, so I decided to join these two loves together into a wall hanging. This quilt features easy piecing and fusible appliqué so it would be suitable for an experienced beginner. I also wanted to show off some of the features of my new NQ900 sewing machine, so I used it to embroider words of inspiration onto the appliqué shapes. Personalize your wall hanging by using your favourite colours and adding your own favourite quotes or sayings.
