Wire Crochet Multi Strand Pearl Necklace by Roxann Blazetich Ozols is a beginner beading and wire crochet project with a polished jewellery finish. The necklace is worked in six crocheted wire strands using 28 gauge permanently coated wire, top drilled pearls, accent beads, metal beads, split rings, crimp covers and a toggle clasp. Finished length is approximately 20″ [51cm] for the crocheted strands, plus 5″ [12.5cm] beaded ends. Makers will practise stringing beads, forming a starter knot, crocheting plain and beaded chain stitches, varying hook sizes, twisting wire ends, adding accent beads, attaching a clasp and finishing the necklace neatly.
