Sweethearts Welcome Wall Art

Sweethearts Welcome by Three Swans Studios is an intermediate embroidery and beading project designed to bring a warm greeting to a door, entryway or kitchen wall. Finished at 7″ [18cm] square before any optional border, this redwork inspired design uses two shades of red, a touch of green and sparkling beads, though French knots may be substituted. Stitchers will practise tracing a design, stabilizing cotton with muslin, chain stitch, stem stitch, long stitches, French knots, lattice details, bead placement and optional mounting on cardboard and fabric covered plywood. It also works beautifully as a quilted tote pocket or wall hanging centre.
