Postcards from the Heart

It’s such a novelty to receive a postcard from a loved one now that the internet has made all our lives immediate and in real time. But with all the hustle and bustle of our busy newsfeeds, we often forget to get in touch with our inner lives.
Nancy designed ‘postcards from the heart’ that you could send to a loved one, or as affirmation cards to keep for yourself. She uses a variety of leftover fabric, some of her seldom-used machine embroidery stitches, and wooden buttons to embellish. This is a pattern with templates to make 3 uniquely designed postcards using free motion quilting, machine embroidery, and applique techniques.
