Notre Dame II Lace Shawl

The Notre Dame II Lace Shawl, designed by Nancy Lekx, revisits her earlier crescent shawl design with a new asymmetrical triangle shape and lacework throughout. Knit with UNIVERSAL YARN Bamboo Pop (292yds [266m], 3.5oz [100g], 50% cotton/50% bamboo), this yarn drapes beautifully and provides excellent stitch definition. The shawl measures approximately 73″ wingspan x 32″ deep [185.5 x 81.25cm] and features the elegant Framed Arches stitch pattern and a scalloped lace border. Knit on the bias, increases are seamlessly incorporated into the lace, creating flowing diagonal lines. An intermediate-level project, it offers engaging lacework with restful purl rows.
