My Favourite Things: Mother’s Day and Father’s Day

Favourite Holidays: Mother’s Day and Father’s Day by Joanne Gatenby includes two beginner to intermediate cross stitch designs celebrating the special people in our lives. Each chart has a stitch count of 98W x 98H and finishes approximately 7″ square [18cm square] on 14 count Aida. The designs feature cheerful borders, keepsake wording, thoughtful details, full colour keys, backstitching instructions and Algerian eyelets worked around the border. Stitchers will practise full, half and quarter stitches, backstitching, eyelets, working with three strands of floss, reading detailed symbol charts and choosing either “favourite” or “favorite” spelling.
