Favourite Holidays: Canada Day and Independence Day by Joanne Gatenby includes two experienced beginner cross stitch designs celebrating Canada and the United States. Each chart has a stitch count of 98W x 98H and finishes approximately 7″ square [18cm square] on 14 count fabric. The designs feature festive borders, national symbols, chunky candles, fireworks sparkle and optional flag button embellishments. Stitchers will practise cross stitch, backstitching, eyelets, working with three strands of floss, adding Kreinik braid sparkle and following separate colour and backstitching keys. Both “favourite” and “favorite” spelling options are included for added flexibility.
