Greenleaf Doily

US$3.95

Greenleaf Doily by Kim Beamish is a needle tatting pattern inspired by the fullness of leaves after summer rain. No formal skill level is listed, but the four-round structure makes it best suited to tatters comfortable with rings, chains, picots, joins, reverse work, and following written round-by-round instructions. Finished measurements are approximately 11″ in diameter for the white version and 9½” in diameter for the frosty green version, depending on thread twist. Skills involved include needle tatting with crochet cotton, pressing between rounds, maintaining even tension, and lightly starching the finished doily. The needlework technique used is needle tatting.
