Fireworks! Hooked Jeanius Bag by Wendie Scott Davis is an easy rug hooking project with a clever recycled twist. The bag is made from the leg of an old pair of jeans, while the flap is hooked with a bright fireworks design. Finished at approximately 8¼” x 10¾” [21 x 27cm], this small messenger bag is ideal for carrying a wallet, keys and sunglasses. Makers will practise transferring a design, hooking a small flap, using wool scraps or alternate fibres, whipping edges, attaching the hooked flap, adding a strap, sewing a lining and finishing a practical handmade bag.
