Another Brick in The Wall Quilt
Quilter Paul Léger loves bright colours, he always did, even when they weren't really a fashion trend. He highlights bright colours whenever possible in his quilting. Another Brick in the Wall quilt is another example how you can use up your favourite scraps and un-used fat quarters.

Under Construction Quilt
The fabrics used in the bricks, the border, and the words were made using the photocopier function on an INKJET printer. The fabric for the mortar and the binding are commercial prints. Elaine used the bricks on her house as the guide for the sizes. Feel free to change up the sizes to suit your project. There are many novelty or architectural prints on the market that you can use instead of creating your own.

Repurposed Pottery Pin Cushions
These pincushions are based on a long ago summer camp craft project. Back then, we used empty frozen juice cans.
I found these pottery pieces on a trip to a local thrift store for less than $1. You can use cups and saucers too. Just glue the cup to the saucer with some seriously strong glue. The saucer can corral stray buttons, a bobbin or two, or provide a resting place for scissors.
Create these Re-purposed Pottery Pincushions for yourself, a few of your stitching pals, or for sale at a fundraising bazaar.
