I LOVE batik fabrics and have been collecting them for awhile now, but have just started recently to
actually cut them up and quilt with them. When I found these coffee cup and coffee bean batik
fabrics at my local quilt shop, Taylor’s Sewing Centre in Brockville, I just had to buy them! It took me
awhile to find more coordinating teal and brown fabrics but when I did, I knew I needed to find a way
to use them all together in one project. I designed this cute wall hanging for my kitchen. It features
fairly easy piecing and fusible appliqué so it would be suitable for an experienced beginner. I think it
would look equally nice in bright prints or a country colour scheme.
