The 3D-Pinwheels Wall Hanging was inspired by the whimsical colourful children’s pinwheel. The pinwheels are the pop of colour against a neutral (white) background offset by the micro pinwheel quilting design. The pinwheels are three dimensional, which adds to the pop of colour. When the quilt is constructed, you can choose to add fabric stiffener to keep the pinwheels three dimensional, or you can allow them to press flat against the background.
